Chakra Wisdom Oracle Cards: The Complete Spiritual Toolkit for Transforming Your Life by Tori Hartman and illustrated by Gretchen Raish-Baskin is a wonderful collection of 48 oracle cards （seven cards per chakra）。 The author was inspired with the idea for these cards after a near death experience。 After her experience she was led by spirit to the fables presented in these cards and how they align with the chakras。These cards come complete with a guidebook that is easy to use。 They come in a nice Chakra Wisdom Oracle Cards: The Complete Spiritual Toolkit for Transforming Your Life by Tori Hartman and illustrated by Gretchen Raish-Baskin is a wonderful collection of 48 oracle cards （seven cards per chakra）。 The author was inspired with the idea for these cards after a near death experience。 After her experience she was led by spirit to the fables presented in these cards and how they align with the chakras。These cards come complete with a guidebook that is easy to use。 They come in a nice box that you simply pull the string on and the box and guidebook slide out， which I found to be a very easy way to get to the cards rather than a smaller box one needs to take the top off of。 Also， the cards are not the same size as the guidebook， the book is a little bigger which you don’t fine with a lot of tarot/oracle decks that I’ve gotten。 I thought it was a nice touch。 The cards fit nicely in your hands too。The guidebook contains an overall explanation for each of the seven chakra colors。 Within each of the specific colors there are seven different cards per color and we are given an explanation of what each cards means， the legend behind the card， inspiration， personal inquiry， key ideas， keywords， and a meditation for that card。 In the back of the guidebook there are different layouts for everything from removing blocks to finding your career path。I did a few different readings with these cards and found them to be true to what I know and frankly was amazed at their accuracy。 You can ask these cards pretty much anything you want。 Do you want to know what color your aura is？ Ask the cards。 Which chakra you need to work with？ Ask the cards。 Which chakras are blocked or open？ Ask the cards。 This is a wonderful oracle deck。 I would highly recommend it for everyone who wants to transform their life or find answers to their questions。If you enjoy these cards Tori Hartman has also created a Chakra Wisdom Tarot which I think is the perfect companion to her oracle cards。 I acknowledge that I received this Oracle deck free of charge from Watkins Publishing。 This is my honest and unbiased opinion of the cards。Read the review here: https://insightsintobooks。wordpress。c。。。 。。。more

This book and card set was given to me for free by a Goodreads Giveaway。 The author based these cards on stories she wrote down as a child。 She explains that these stories were dictated to her by angels， after a near-death experience。 Each story had a color associated with it。 Later she realized these colors seemed to correlate to the colors traditionally associated with the Hindu chakras。 In the introduction she describes being unable to understand chakras until she put aside the references abo This book and card set was given to me for free by a Goodreads Giveaway。 The author based these cards on stories she wrote down as a child。 She explains that these stories were dictated to her by angels， after a near-death experience。 Each story had a color associated with it。 Later she realized these colors seemed to correlate to the colors traditionally associated with the Hindu chakras。 In the introduction she describes being unable to understand chakras until she put aside the references about their meaning in Hinduism to experience them for herself in light of the stories and colors that came to her in childhood。 The book starts with an introduction to the cards， then has a chapter for each chakra color， then a chapter of specific spreads to use with the card。 Each chakra chapter has information about that chakra and the cards associated with it， then a page for each card。 The page includes a thumbnail of the card， the story that inspired it， information about the card's meaning and how to use it， and a short meditation about the card。 The book and card set assume that the reader， like the author， believes that when one focuses on a need or want that is in alignment with the reader's inner truth， that need or want will manifest in their life。 She does point out that the focus is only one part of the equation。 To quote the book， "Trust in God， but lock your doors。" Unsurprisingly， the book attributes failure to manifest to either a lack of belief or misalignment with inner/divine truth。 The book also assumes that God， higher self， Goddess， inner truth are pretty much the same， just called by different names as different people understand it。 The artwork has an accessible， illustrative style that nicely reflects the story of each card。 It's detailed enough to support visual meditation without getting busy or distracting。 I am not the ideal audience for this set。 I find the author's reinterpretation of a part of Hinduism to feel less like creativity than appropriation， which makes it hard for me to relax into the set。 The assignments of stories to chakras to concepts feels haphazard to me。 Someone whose spirituality aligns with the author's may very well find this to be an appealing， useful tool。 If I were to use it， I would likely use the cards alone without referencing the book。 。。。more
